Our Team of Therapists

Charity King

I graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2019 after completing a Licensure program of more than 700 hours, which included Swedish, Sports, Deep tissue and Trigger point therapy. Through additional training I have a certificate in Oncology Massage, Hospice Massage, Cranio-Sacral and Myofascial Release, as well as being a Reiki Practitioner.

My passion as a therapist is to assist all of my clients on their own path to healing. I tailor each massage to each client's needs, with an emphasis on massage should never hurt. There are multiple ways to help the body deal with pain and tension without causing discomfort, through massage and different modalities.

Patrick Lavoie

Patrick graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester after spending 25 years in the Canadian Government as a webmaster and IT service desk technician. Specializing in therapeutic massage for headaches, Myofascial release, and pain relief/management, Patrick's journey into massage therapy stems from a personal experience with chronic pain and holistic healing.

Growing up in a small town in Quebec, Patrick struggled with persistent headaches that conventional medicine couldn't alleviate. It was a local holistic healer who identified the tension in his neck and provided relief through bodywork techniques, sparking his interest in alternative healing methods. As he moved to a larger city seeking further treatments, Patrick explored various therapies but found true relief through massage therapy during a spa visit.

The transformative impact of massage therapy inspired Patrick to transition from IT to a career in healing. Despite initial challenges, including sciatic pain exacerbated by other work, Patrick's determination to help others on their healing journey led him to enroll at Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. His personal experiences drive his commitment to providing effective and compassionate care to his clients, blending therapeutic techniques to address headaches, Myofascial tension, and pain management.

Patrick's story exemplifies the power of holistic healing and the profound impact of finding relief through bodywork. His journey from chronic pain to becoming a massage therapist highlights his dedication to passing along the positive experiences he gained, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Hello Im Sean.
I graduated from Cortiva (formerly MTI) in 2011, and for me, healing goes beyond the physical realm—it encompasses all the senses and taps into the depths of the soul. In my experience, there are three profound ways to connect with the soul: through music, physical engagement, and reconnecting with our roots by immersing ourselves in nature.

During my time with the Boy Scouts, I delved into these avenues by engaging in physical and emotional volunteering. My activities varied widely, from building and maintaining hiking trails to organizing concerts for local nursing homes, all of which deeply resonated with me. Music has been a constant companion throughout my journey, and I continue to play and perform, finding solace and expression in its melodies.

Being part of the Boy Scouts also fostered a profound connection with nature within me. I strongly believe in the healing power of nature, advocating for its importance in both physical and emotional well-being. Escaping to nature allows us to reconnect with our true selves and find inner peace amidst life's challenges.

In 2002, I achieved the prestigious Rank of Eagle Scout, a testament to my dedication and commitment to service. This journey also led me to perform at the esteemed Lincoln Center in NYC, a moment that remains etched in my memory as a culmination of my passions for music and service.

As an intuitive healer, I blend various modalities such as energy healing, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, and Sports techniques to address the root causes of my clients' issues. I believe that true healing goes beyond mere words—it's about feeling the work, releasing what no longer serves us, and listening to our inner truth to progress forward on our healing journey.

I take immense pride in witnessing my clients learn to listen to their bodies and take proactive steps towards self-healing. I firmly believe that individual healing contributes to healing the world at large, as we are all interconnected on this journey of self-discovery and growth. While I approach healing with dedication and seriousness, I also value the importance of laughter and light-heartedness, understanding that a moment of joy can be just as transformative as any healing modality.
